A bouldering log without the social feed
Most climbing apps are built around other people β feeds, followers, beta videos, leaderboards. Sendtick (App Store id6785301383) is built around one person: you, your climbs, and your grade pyramid. Nobody else can see your log, because there is nowhere for it to go.
What Sendtick deliberately does not have
- No social feed, followers or leaderboards. There is no profile and no way to share a session from inside the app.
- No beta videos. Sendtick does not host, play or index climbing video.
- No Apple Watch app and no automatic climb detection. You tell it what you climbed; it never guesses.
- No GPS, no outdoor guidebook, no route database.
- No gym or route-setting tools.
These are not missing features waiting to be built β they are the shape of the product. If one of them is what you are actually looking for, a different app is the right answer, and you should use one.
So what is it for?
One thing: ticking a send in two taps and watching the pyramid grow.
- Two-tap logging β the grade stays where you left it, so a send is one tap on the grade and one on Send. Buttons sit at the bottom of the screen, sized for one hand, because you are logging mid-session with chalk on your fingers.
- Attempts, flashes, sends and projects β a flash only counts on the first attempt, and projects accumulate attempts over time.
- V-scale (V0βV17) and Fontainebleau (3β9A) with conversion between them.
- Grade pyramid and session stats, recomputed from your log every time β never a stale cached number.
- Undo on the tick you just logged, for the inevitable mis-tap.
Nothing is capped. Logging is free and unlimited β no monthly quota. The optional Pro tier adds flash-rate by grade, a projects board and CSV export; it never limits how much you can log. See free vs Pro.
Who is it a bad fit for?
Being honest about this is cheaper for everyone than a refund:
- You want to follow friends or share sends β Sendtick has no social layer at all.
- You want to watch or record beta for problems.
- You want climbs detected automatically from a watch.
- You need your log synced across several devices β it is currently a single-device, on-device log (details).
- You climb primarily outdoors and want a guidebook or GPS.
- You are on Android β Sendtick is iPhone-only.
